The revised SOOP Developers Terms of Service will take effect on Thursday, August 20.

Article 2 Definitions "Services" means all services provided by the Company through the Developer Website to support members' program development, such as the Platform API and Service API. "Member" means an individual holding a "Company" account who has entered into a usage agreement with the Company pursuant to these Terms and who develops programs, etc., through the developer website or distributes programs developed through the Extension Program Market. "API" stands for Application Programming Interface and refers to the interface enabling Members to utilize the Company's provided technologies within their applications, etc. "Open API" refers to a service that provides various foundational platforms, starting with the SOOP platform's user management function, including Live, VOD, and membership services. "Application (or App)" refers to the member's program or website, etc., where the member intends to apply the API. "End User" means a user who uses the application developed by the Member through the SOOP service. This includes both logged-in and non-logged-in users of SOOP. "Application (or App)" refers to the member's program or website, etc., where the member intends to apply the API. “Extension” means a plug-in type program that adds new features or functionality to the SOOP player or other SOOP services. "End User" means a user who uses the application developed by the Member through the SOOP service. This includes both logged-in and non-logged-in users of SOOP.
Article 12 Service Content Members may obtain Open API usage rights by registering as developers and applying for partnership, and may use the APIs provided by the Service that are necessary for their business. The Company may provide guidance on the service application process, usage methods, and other detailed service information through the developer website and Extension Program Market. Members must carefully review this information before using the service.	Article 12 Service Content Members may obtain authorization to use APIs and SDKs by completing the developer and application registration processes. Such authorization is classified as either “Public,” which does not require a separate review, or “Consent,” which requires review. Members who complete the developer and extension registration processes and pass the Company’s review may release and operate their extensions. The Company may provide guidance on the service application process, usage methods, and other detailed service information through the developer website and Extension Program Market. Members must carefully review this information before using the service.
